Being in balance - for the vast majority of people this is something they take for granted every day. However, up to 22 percent of men and 36 percent of women complain of dizziness and unsteadiness at least some of the time. Among the over-80s, this is the number one impairment - more than 39 percent of this age group suffer from symptoms of dizziness. A visit to the doctor often brings little news: the realization that dizziness is a problem is nothing new for those affected. Apart from the easily treatable positional vertigo, its specific classification is usually of little interest to those affected: they are hoping for one thing above all: relief! This is where the MediBalance Pro System comes in:
The MediBalance Pro System allows you to take an elegant and differentiated look at your client's standing behavior and stability under various conditions. The vestibular, visual and somato-sensory systems (i.e. the sense of balance, vision and the body's own perception) are compared with each other. A four- or twelve-step analysis procedure shows how well the person concerned is able to stand. Based on this, the patient can be offered training to improve their stability and self-perception.
